November 20th - N.C. and band complete the "Test your Nerve" tour.. 40 dates, two months throughout Europe. Some countries visited: France, Germany, Spain, England, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Scotland, Belgium. Thanks to everyone who came to the shows...
October 19th - "Leaving Traces", a compilation of N.C. songs from 94´-04´ released throughout Europe and the USA on Fargo Records.. Includes bonus tracks and DVD footage from the "Fade Away Diamond Time" and "Anytime Tomorrow" sessions.
August 30th – N.C. articles in the September issues of French Rolling Stone, and Rock & Folk.
August 27th – N.C. plays the Festival des Granges in Laimont, France, with Chris Whitley, Mandino Reinhardt quintet, Hamilton De Hollanda, etc.
August 25th – N.C. plays/sings on the new Tift Merritt record,

Drakoulias, featuring Gary Louris, Mike Campbell, Maria Mckee, etc...

July 22nd – Four star reviews of "Return in Kind" in the august issues
of MOJO and UNCUT magazines. July 10th – N.C. and band headline the Musiques en Stock festival in Cluses, France. June 22nd – N.C. plays sold out show w/ electric band at The Borderline in London. Also played the Crossroads festival at the Olympia in Paris on June 18th. Sang and played songs with Gary Louris, Ken Stringfellow, Mary Lee’s Corvette, and solo/electric band.. also played solo acoustic show at Hotel du Nord in Paris on June 20th, Louris, Stringfellow, Mike Shapiro, and Thomas Brun also sat in. June 14th - N.C.’s new covers record, “Return in Kind”, released throughout Europe. Includes songs by Johnny Thunders, Doug Sahm, Royal Trux, Faces, Gene Clark, and more. May 13th - N.C. sings/plays five nights (May 6,7,8,10,11) at London’s Royal Albert Hall with Robert Randolph and the Family Band, opening for Eric Clapton. May 13th - N.C. plays guitar and sings with Robert Randolph and the Family
Band, on "later with Jools Holland"..also on the show are Alicia Keys,
Rufus Wainwright, Alanis Morrisette, and Devendra Banhart.
March 10th - N.C. plays guitar on the “Starsky and Hutch” soundtrack, and even appears in the movie for about two seconds.
February 4th - N.C. plays sold out solo acoustic show at Islington Academy in London as part of a Fargo Records showcase. B.J. Cole guests on pedal steel guitar..also on the bill are Andrew Bird and Clem Snide.
January 26th - N.C. completes two week u.s./Canadian tour with Warner Bros. artist Johnathan Rice, opening for Starsailor.
January 15th - N.C. voted artist of the year by readers and writers in the French music mag Crossroads..
December 16th - N.C.’s “Maybe California” compilation is voted #21 on French Rolling Stone’s top 100 records of 2003 list. N.C. is also voted #5 artist of 2003 in the
French magazine “Rock and Folk”....big thanks to Fargo Records.
October 30th - Hazy Malaze debut record is reviewed by Sylvie Simmons in November issue of MOJO magazine. Recent articles and reviews also include Classic Rock and Kerrang. Hazy Malaze is now available throughout Europe on Fargo Records.
